Taurus Developments has completed the letting of Units 1 and 2 at Velocity, Havant meaning the speculatively built development is now 56% let.
Sartorius Stedim Chromatography Systems Ltd has taken a total of 58,115 sq ft on a ten year lease. This letting means that only Unit 3 (45,422 sq ft) remains available.
Commenting on the deal, Michael Gibbens, Managing Director of Taurus Developments, said:
“We are really pleased to welcome Sartorius to Velocity and to have completed this deal which justifies our decision to press ahead with the speculative development of the scheme.
“Havant has a well-established post war industrial and distribution heritage with a strong occupier base but remains a very under-supplied market for existing companies looking to expand or for new entrants to this location. A combination of excellent communications to the M27 and A3(M) and a strong labour supply are key attractions of Havant for those businesses.”
