100% let at Genesis

Taurus Developments and LaSalle Investment Management have completed the fourth and final letting at Genesis, Basildon. Unit 1, comprising 13,423 sq ft, has been let to Oak Furnitureland on a 5 year lease.  This latest deal means that Genesis is now 100% let.  Oak Furnitureland make up the quartet of occupiers along with Walker Precision Engineering, Shield Fire Safety & Security Limited and MHS Radiators.

Commenting on the recent letting, Michael Gibbens, Managing Director of Taurus Developments, said:

“We are delighted to welcome Oak Furnitureland to Genesis and to include them as the fourth occupier of the development.  We are equally pleased to have completed this final letting and to see Genesis fully occupied.

The occupier mix and the level of rents achieved across the development fully justifies our decision to speculatively develop the scheme and to build detached, self-contained units with dedicated, secure service yard and car parking provision in a landscaped setting.
